Day 1: ARRIVAL FLORENCE
Arrive at Florence Airport and meet the driver. Drive to your hotel, check-in and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 2: FLORENCE
Today after breakfast meet your guide at the hotel lobby and discover the highlights of the city visiting the Michelangelo masterpieces on your way. Florence's historical centre is small and thus perfect for exploring on foot! You will access important sites such as Santa Maria Novella, Santa Croce and Cappelle Medicee, with especially famous frescoes by masters of Gothic and early Renaissance such as Michelangelo!

Day 3: FLORENCE
After breakfast meet your guide at the hotel lobby to discover more treasures of Florence in one day enjoying the Uffizi Gallery with a special and deep visit at the Michelangelo hall admiring the masterpieces of the “Tondo Doni” dated between 1505 and 1507. The tour will continue with the entrance at the Accademia Gallery where you will admire “the David”, a statue of 5.17-metre created in marble between 1501 and 1504 by Michelangelo Buonarroti and considered the most splendid masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture.

Day 4: FLORENCE
After breakfast meet your guide for a walking tour of Florence which will include the entrance to the most important church of Florence, the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral (DUOMO). With an expert guide you will visit the treasures of this wonderful cathedral: from the fifteenth-century frescoes by Paolo Uccello to the lily-shaped apse; from the huge nave to the wonderful Vasari's work: the Last Judgment, painted on the majestic Brunelleschi's Dome. Here you will also discover the history between Michelangelo Buonarroti and this Cathedral which contains other masterpieces of the artist.

Day 5: FLORENCE – ROME (90min by high-speed train, included)
After your breakfast check out and meet your driver for a transfer to the train station where you will get on a high-speed train to Rome. Upon arrival check in to your hotel. In the afternoon meet our driver and guide for a walking tour of Michelangelo. Michelangelo Buonarroti was invited to Rome in 1496 for the first time. The artist was commissioned to produce statues, paint frescoes, and develop architectural plans for churches and piazzas around the city. Start your Roman tour with one of Michelangelo’s lesser-known masterpieces: the “Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri” church. Built inside the ancient Baths of Diocletian dating back to 300 A.D. Then admire the colossal Moses, in the “San Pietro in Vincoli” church. During the tour you will also see some highlights as Campidoglio square, located on the Capitoline Hill and “Santa Maria Sopra Minerva” church, where one of Michelangelo’s lesser-known sculptures, Christ Carrying the Cross, is housed.

Day 6: ROME
Breakfast at the hotel and private transfer by car to the Vatican City. Discover with our expert tour guide the highlights of the world-famous Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica in one day! Explore the myriad of paintings, sculptures, and tapestries the Museums have to offer. Your expert guide will then lead you to the Sistine Chapel. At last, your guide will escort you into St. Peter’s Basilica to provide an overview of this spectacular church.

Day 7: DEPARTURE ROME
After breakfast at the hotel meet your driver and transfer to Rome Airport for your return flight.
Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Italy. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sun glasses, a hat, and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
