Besides housing an impressive art collection (entrance to the palace is not included), it also hosts an annual Christmas market. Over 40 stalls decorated with ornaments and lights, glass decorations, ceramic items, and paintings await visitors each year (transportation is by public transport and subway). Free time for shopping.

Day 2 (02.12.2024): Vienna – Walking Tour of the Christmas Markets
Breakfast. Together with the Romanian tour guide, we will visit the traditional Christmas markets in Vienna (transportation is not included and will be by public transport and subway). The approach of the winter holidays is felt everywhere, and Vienna dresses up in festive attire with the aroma of cinnamon and gingerbread. The most famous Christmas markets are those in City Hall Square, the Christmas Market in Freyung, which has been held since the 1970s, and the one in Maria Theresien Platz. In a fairy-tale atmosphere, you will find Christmas tree decorations, gifts, traditional products, wooden toys, sweets, candied fruits, roasted chestnuts, and berry punch. Throughout the day, you can relax in a traditional café and sample different types of coffee – Melanger, Kleiner Brauner – or enjoy delicious traditional dishes such as Wiener Schnitzel or Apfelstrudel.
In the afternoon, we suggest visiting Schönbrunn Palace on your own, the former summer residence of the imperial family and one of the most beautiful palaces in Europe, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Schönbrunn Palace is often compared to the Palace of Versailles in Paris.
You can also visit the Christmas market held in the Schönbrunn Palace courtyard, where the scent of baked apples and vanilla creates a unique atmosphere. Free time for individual walks and unique gifts for loved ones. In the evening, accommodation at Hotel Best Western Plus Amedia Wien 4* (or similar).
Day 3 (03.12.2024): Vienna – Parndorf Designer Outlet (3h) and Bratislava, Day Trip
