Arrival in Matera by own means. In the afternoon guided tour of the historic center. Free dinner and return to the hotel for overnight.

After breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide and visit the historic center of the city of Matera.

XIII); panoramic view of Sasso Barisano; visit to the underground church Crypt of the Holy Spirit (sec.IX); visit to the rooms excavated in the tuff, now used as a terracotta workshop (admission and free demonstration); walk of Sasso Barisano; Piazza del Sedile (sec. XV - XVIII); Civita and Cathedral (sec. XII). Free lunch and in the afternoon meeting with the guide and guided tour of the eighteenth-century ridge (Church of San Francesco D'Assisi, Church of Purgatory, National Museum of Medieval and Modern Art of Basilicata and Centro Carlo Levi).
