Bali and Lombok Classic 10 days

Day 1: Denpasar Airport – Seminyak ( )

Welcome to Bali! Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, you will be met by one of our trusted English-speaking guides who will transfer you to your hotel in Seminyak. After check-in, the remainder of the day can be spent however you please. Overnight at the hotel in Seminyak.

Day 2: Seminyak – Kintamani Tour – Seminyak (B/L)

After breakfast, you will depart for the tour of Kintamani. The tour begins with an opportunity to experience the Balinese culture up close. The famous Barong dance is a hypnotic dance form that showcases the eternal conflict between good and evil. Afterward drive to Tegalalang, for its beautiful rice terrace where you may walk along the rice field and encounter the local farmers, here you may spoil yourself back to childhood to enjoy a swing (extra cost) in the middle of the rice terrace. Upon reaching the village of Kintamani, experience the most spectacular view in Bali. The mesmerizing sights of the crescent-shaped Lake Batur, below Mount Batur, is bliss not only for the eyes but for the soul as well. Mount Abang, on the other side of the lake, is believed to have been a part of Batur in prehistoric times, until separated by a huge eruption. You break for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant, that offers one of the most spectacular views of the mountains – a perfect place to get your cameras rolling! From here, you venture into the lush green Balinese countryside, as you pass through remote villages, paddy fields, and mountains. Visit the enchanting Hindu water temple of Tirta Empul, which is believed has a healing spiritual power. On your return to the hotel, you will visit the Goa Gajah in Bedulu. Excavated in 1954, the ‘Elephant Cave’ is a meditational cave with some exquisite rock wall carvings and a bathing pool. Overnight at the hotel in Seminyak.

Day 3: Seminyak – Free At Leisure (B)

Day 4: Seminyak – Taman Ayun – Alas Kedaton – Tanah Lot (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. It’s a relaxed morning today. This half-day tour is a must for Bali visitors. In the afternoon our tour begins with a visit to the temple of Mengwi, where the famous Taman Ayun was built for The Prince of Tabanan in the early 17th century. This important temple is surrounded by a large moat, symbolizing the cosmic ocean. Further on we give you the opportunity to watch the wild living monkeys at the holy monkey forest of Alas Kedaton. The forest mainly consists of Nutmeg Trees, a habitat for fruit bats (Flying Foxes) and 3 large monkey families. Save some space in your memory card for the magnificent sunset at the spectacular Tanah Lot Temple. This temple is built on top of a rock in the Indian Ocean, just a few hundred meters offshore. Watch the rough sea as it crashes into the coast. The romantic sunset is around 6:10 PM. Photographs in the stunning sunset backdrops are surely not to be missed! Day 5: Seminyak – Free At Leisure (B)

Day 6: Seminyak – Speed Boat To Lombok Senggigi (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you will get a private transfer from Legian to Padang Bai harbor east of Bali, from here you will board your speed boat to reach Lombok Island. As the boat cruises further away from the shore, you will see Bali’s mountainous peaks and rice paddies disappear and tiny islands skimming past. Upon arrival at Senggigi harbor, meet with our local team and you will be then transferred by car to Senggigi. Day free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Senggigi.

Day 7: Senggigi – Free At Leisure (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Today’s the day just to unwind and let the beauty and serenity of Lombok cast a captivating spell on your body and soul. Have a lazy breakfast, swim in the turquoise waters, snorkel the reef, or just claim a sun bed for the day. A perfect day to get mesmerized by the sublime equatorial allure of Lombok. Overnight at the hotel in Senggigi.

Day 8: Senggigi – Gili Trawangan Senggigi (B)

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed day on the bustling backpacker-Mecca of Gili Trawangan which is one of the most popular amongst the Lombok Gilis, which was also previously known as the party-island. This trip features an island holiday trip to Gili Trawangan combined with scenic beach views, and monkey forest. You will get picked up from your hotel in Senggigi area and we will be driving inland via Gunung Sari Morning Market (stop here to see the locals sell and buy daily needs such as vegetables, spices, rice, and fish, etc.) Sedimen Mountain Village (stop here to see local villages tapping and cooking sago palm juices for brown sugar) and Baun Pusuk Pass (stop here to see the monkeys and feed them with nuts and fruits). From Baun Pusuk Pass we will be driving downroad toward Teluk Kodeq Harbour, Pemenang Village. We will be boarding the local outrigger boat in Teluk Kodeq Harbour and across the narrow strait for some 20 minutes to Gili Trawangan. It is a small island located on the North of Lombok along with the other two gilis of Meno and Air. Gili Trawangan is the most popular amongst the Lombok Gilis, and was previously known as the party-island. The facilities are more here, and it offers great holidays for all travellers budget. Art shops, cafes & restaurants, budget & luxury villas, dive shops, and Atm machines are available here. Upon arrival on this gili, you may begin your free activities for swimming, snorkelling, or sunbathing. Horse-cart riding around the Gili would also be an attractive activity. If you do not have snorkelling gears with you, the stuffs are easily hired from the local dive shops on this Gili (all costs for these free activities should be of your personal expenses). In the afternoon we will return to Teluk Kodeq Harbour and follow the coastal roads toward Senggigi Beach. You will find many headlands and valleys with beautiful beach views. Then you will be transferred back to your hotel for rest and overnight. Overnight at the hotel in Senggigi.

Day 9: Senggigi – Free At Leisure (B)

Day 10: Senggigi – Departure (B)
