Self-Drive Oman Tour 5 Nights

Day 1: Muscat

Muscat
Arrive at Muscat International Airport. Handling of customs formalities, baggage collection and meeting at the arrival's hall with our representative. Transfer to reach your hotel. Check in and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Muscat

Muscat – City tour
After breakfast, at the scheduled time, meet our representative who will deliver the rental vehicle to you, so that you can start the tour of the city of Muscat. Muscat offers the opportunity to experience a modern center for commerce, in harmony with cultural tradition. With its natural port, Muscat means precisely "port", and the town is surrounded by rocky mountains, the location is unique in the world. Visits to the Grand Mosque (Open daily from 08.00 to 11.00, except on Fridays and public holidays. Dress: both men and women must cover their arms and legs. Day 3: Jebel Shams

Muscat – Nizwa – Al Hamra – Jabel Shams
Today, after breakfast, check out and departure towards Nizwa. After about 3 hours by car, you will reach the cultural capital of the country, with the possibility of admiring its Fort (ticket not included) and shopping in the traditional souk. Continue to Al Hamra. Take a stroll through the old village and see the old mud houses that housed several generations before being abandoned. In the late afternoon we arrive at the Hajar mountains and climb up to reach the Omani Grand Canyon, Jabel Shams. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 4: Wahiba Sands

Jabel Shams – Ibra – Wahiba Sands
After breakfast we go back down the mountain. Visit the Ibra market before proceeding to the desert. Arrive at Mintrib Shell petrol station and meet the camp representative at a prearranged time, who will escort you to Sama Al Wasil or Arabian Oryx Camp. Arrival and check in at the camp. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 5: Muscat

Wahiba Sands – Wadi Bani Khalid – Sur – Fins – Bimah Sinkhole – Muscat
After breakfast, check out and departure for Wadi Bani Khalid. Here it is possible to enjoy a nice swim in the cool waters of the natural pools.
Proceed with your vehicle to Sur for a short visit of the city and the famous factory that produces typical dhow boats. The journey continues to Fins Beach and later stop at Bimmah Sinkhole to view the limestone crater, before continuing to Muscat. Arrival in the evening and check in at the hotel and release of the rental vehicle. Overnight Muscat.

Day 6:

Muscat
In time transfer to the airport in Muscat. The rooms in the hotel are available until 12.00.
