TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

Arenal: Admire one of the most beautiful volcanoes in the country and its mesmerising park, dotted with trails and rich in wildlife. 

Rincon de la Vieja National Park: In a country of national parks and wildlife preserves, Rincon de la Vieja National Park is like no other in Costa Rica. This protected area hosts a wide variety of tropical forests; exotic and rare flora and fauna find refuge here.

Day 1: ARRIVAL SAN JOSE

Upon arrival at the Juan Santamaria International Airport in Costa Rica, one of our representatives will be waiting for you at the exit of the air terminal to welcome you, provide you with the necessary information about your trip, and then transfer you to the hotel in the San Jose area.

Overnight in San Jose. 

Day 2: SAN JOSE – ARENAL

After breakfast you will be transferred to the Arenal Volcano area where you will stay at the selected hotel.

Overnight in Arenal.

Day 3: ARENAL

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring the area or taking advantage of the available optional activities.

Day 4: ARENAL – GUANACASTE

In the morning, after breakfast shared transportation will take you to the beautiful province of Guanacaste, located in the North Pacific of Costa Rica (approximately 4 hours). On the way admire beautiful panoramic views of Lake Arenal and picturesque rural towns such as Tilarán and Cañas, in the latter, you will already be able to notice the change between the humid tropical forest and the dry tropical forest that characterizes this coastal province. In this area you will find an impressive combination of forest and paradisiacal beaches.

Day 5: GUANACASTE

Free day to rest, enjoy the beach, the sun and simply relax, or you can consider taking one of the optional excursions offered in the area. Depending on the beach area, some of the suggested activities at an additional cost are: Canopy, Palo Verde boat tour, Horseback Riding, Rincón de la Vieja National Park and many others.

Day 6: GUANACASTE – SAN JOSE DEPARTURE

Wake up to a one last breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, depart to Liberia or Juan Santamaria International Airport to take your flight back home.

Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Costa Rica. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
